Mission-Related Medical Training – Tactical Mission Medicine

Advanced emergency medicine for assignments in crisis and conflict zones.

This course is not a first aid course, but training that conveys advanced emergency medicine knowledge for assignments in crisis or conflict zones. Our instructor team consists of mission-experienced emergency medics – paramedics, emergency paramedics and doctors – who are happy to pass on their knowledge.

During the 5-day course the theoretical training is complemented by realistic scenarios. The course takes place at your company site or in Waldmünchen and the surrounding area.

Hotel rooms in Waldmünchen are available very affordably.

Course contents

  • PHTLS (Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support)
  • Fundamentals: consciousness, breathing, circulation, medical and care service
  • Injuries, internal and special emergencies
  • Immediate measures for heart attack and stroke
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Situation-adapted care of the injured and wounded (crisis region)
  • Recognising and treating stab wounds
  • Recognising and treating gunshot wounds / wound ballistics
  • Recognising and treating burns
  • Acute care of further injuries: spine, traumatic brain injury, thorax, abdomen, soft tissue & extremities
  • Procedures for appropriate treatment
  • Initial care of blast trauma
  • Physiology & anatomy
